Concrete surfaces last really long but after they complete some years of their life, they start showing signs of wear and tear and often those signs become so prominent that there is no other option other than resurfacing the concrete. It is quite a common procedure that is offered by many companies and it is pretty economical if done by the right company. We would advise our readers to go for LGC as the company also offer epoxy flooring which is an option that everyone should look into.

Epoxy coated concrete floors prove to be the best type of floor because epoxy gives the surface a glossy look and increases its life a lot. When you hire a company to get concrete resurfacing done, remember to ask them about their epoxy flooring and choose that option. Once you have an epoxy coated concrete floor, it is necessary to take care of it so that it lasts long and the maintenance of it is quite general and would not require a lot of effort on your part.

Sweeping

If you want to be really careful about the flooring, we would suggest that you sweep the floors once a week so that the dirt does not get trapped in the coating but if the floor goes through a lot of traffic in a day then we would recommend that you do it every day with a microfiber mop.

Wash

For residential floors, they need to be mopped once a week only but commercial floors would require a wash down every other day but remember to either use water only or use the cleaning solutions that are recommended by the company who did the epoxy flooring or else you might end up damaging the epoxy coated concrete surface.
