Sweeping the Broom on the South Slope

Over the fence on the southern slope is a well-protected rich area full of native bunch grasses, clovers, mules ears, lupine, and other flowers. The main problems have been broom, fennel, and plantain — which are well-controlled due to our consistent attention.
