It’s time for our regular “second Saturday” habitat restoration workparty at the Oak Woodlands in Golden Gate Park with the Natural Areas Program!
This coming Saturday July 12 will have our group in the Golden Gate Park nursery working with the Natural Areas Program’s seedlings and transplants. This is a great opportunity to learn about our native plants for the Oak Woodland and meet other volunteers and Natural Areas staff.
We meet as usual in front of the Conservatory of Flowers in GG Park ( across from the tennis courts ) just before 10 AM. Please be on time as we will leave promptly for the GG Park nursery south of the lawn bowling center. If you haven’t been there before you will need guidance !
Kids under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult, gloves, water and snacks will be provided.
Please call Tom Annese 415-831-6332 or J Fred Decker 415-668-6504 for information.
Call Suzanna Buehl (415-831-6328) for any other questions.
I will miss this month’s official workparty so, in absentia, I wish you all well !
