It’s time for our regular “second Saturday” habitat restoration work party at the Oak Woodlands in Golden Gate Park with the Natural Areas Program!

Christopher Campbell, Natural Areas Staff Leader, will direct work at Arguello Rise , east Coon Hollow , and perhaps along Fulton, removing Ivy and invasive weeds.

This area continues to be developed as a keystone for Coastal / Oak Woodland native plant community.

We are preparing for the upcoming wet season and more planting projects.

Kids under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult and should bring their own gear; otherwise gloves, tools, water and snacks will be provided.

As usual we will meet in front of the Conservatory of Flowers at 10 AM and leave for the site promptly.
