It’s time for our regular “second Saturday” habitat restoration work party at the Oak Woodlands in Golden Gate Park with the Natural Areas Program!

We have 2 projects planned.
One, weeding and mulching in the Coon Hollow restoration zone.
This will further the transformation of the ’3rd Av/ Fulton natural garden ’ and the ’ Arguello Rise ’.

The other will see us load cut brush along the Stanyan ’ cliffs ’ into trucks – providing space for native pant restoration and public safety in the Lick Hill/ Horseshoe Arena region.

We expect to have the ’ Guardsmen ’ jump into the brush loading work, meeting at the Horseshoe Arena entrance at 10 AM and invite the ’ regular ’ Oak Woodland volunteers to help with the weeding and mulching, meeting at 10 AM in front of the Conservatory of Flowers.

Kids under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult and should bring their own gear; otherwise gloves, tools, water and snacks will be provided.
